What’s the best local dish you’ve ever eaten while traveling?

it might seem corny but wow, shave ice is so good. you can find all sorts of shops around the Hawaiian islands and honestly they’re almost all great. it’s just not quite the same on the mainland.

you can make a whole day out of walking or biking to different shave ice places! or do some snorkeling and surfing then cool off with one of the local favorites.

there are so many flavor combinations you can get a new one each day and think “this is the best one yet!”
